VI SHIP Director/Medicare Coordinator Rena Sarauw is reminding Medicare beneficiaries and the general public of a town hall meeting with officials from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid scheduled for Friday, March 19, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Due to confusion about the actual meeting place, she also clarified that the meeting will be held at the Anna’s Retreat Center across from the Lutheran Church of the Reformation. This is a blue two-story building on the first right after the EPA building. The meeting will NOT be held at the center in Anna’s Retreat near the basketball court.

CMS officials are in the Territory to meet with government officials and to hear directly from Medicare beneficiaries about any concerns they have with the administering of the Medicare program. All Medicare beneficiaries, their caregivers, family members, coming-of-agers and the general public are encouraged to attend.
