Delinquent Property Auctions Take Place Throughout Territory PDF Print

Auctions held throughout the territory in January 2012 attracted both interested bidders and onlookers to the sale of properties that were delinquent in the payment of property taxes for ten years or more.  Initially,  a total of 25 residential and commercial properties per district were randomly selected for the first round of property sales.  Twelve properties (5 on St. Croix and 7 in the St. Thomas/St. John district) were presented for auction and sold over  two days of auctions.

The auctions are managed by the Tax Collector’s Office of the Division of Real Property Tax.
