Employees of the St. Croix Offices of the Governor and Lt. Governor recently joined forces to create the Holiday Celebration Committee, which is fundraising to offset costs for planned holiday events. Since its establishment, the Committee has hosted food and bake sales and a regular 50-50 raffle to raise funds for future activities. The success of the food sales can be attributed to the stellar cooking of the employees of the Lt. Governor’s and Governor’s offices, as well as the support of their fellow employees, family and friends.
Next, the HCC will host a fish fry on October 21, 2011 from 6 p.m. –until at Altona Lagoon Pavilion followed by a car wash at Plaza Extra West on Saturday, October 22nd.
