Lt. Governor Francis Wishes Virgin Islanders A Safe and Happy Holiday Season
Lieutenant Governor Gregory R. Francis today extended season’s greetings to all residents and visitors of the Virgin Islands as we celebrate the holidays.
“This is the time of year when we truly appreciate the richness of our culture – whether we are enjoying the food, traditions or events of the Crucian Christmas Festival, said Lt. Governor Francis. “It is a time to reconnect with family, old friends and neighbors and celebrate the ties that make us a strong and resilient community,” he said. He encourages all Virgin Islanders to share in the generosity of the Christmas spirit by extending a helping hand to those in need.
Lt. Governor Francis also offered special best wishes to all Virgin Islanders in the armed forces who serve overseas and will be unable to be home with their loved ones for the holidays.
“May the spirit of the season bring good tidings and a safe and happy holiday to one and all,” Lt. Governor Francis said.
