Lt. Gov. Francis to Host Territory-wide Town Meetings on Property Tax Concerns
Lieutenant Governor Gregory R. Francis, through the Office of the Tax Assessor, will be hosting territory-wide town hall meetings to hear public concerns over property revaluations, the recently released impact statements and to share efforts of the DeJongh/Francis Administration to reduce the impact of recent assessments. Lt. Governor Francis and Tax Assessor Roy Martin will be on hand to answer any questions pertinent to the property tax issue that the public may have.
The meetings will take place on all three islands from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the following dates:
Tuesday, October 2, 2007, Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School Auditorium- St. Thomas
Wednesday, October 3, 2007, Rotary West Community Center- St. Croix
Thursday, October 4, 2007, Cruz Bay Ballroom, Westin Resort- St. John
Friday, October 5, 2007, David C. Canegata Multi-Purpose Recreation Center- St. Croix
