Lt. Governor Francis to Present Christmas Gifts
to Pediatric Patients at Schneider Hospital
Lieutenant Governor Gregory R. Francis and members of the Employee Relations Committee of the Office of the Lt. Governor will present gifts to the patients of the Pediatric Ward of the Roy L. Schneider Hospital on Wednesday, December 23, 2009. The gift presentation will begin at 1:00 p.m.
The gift donation and presentation is coordinated by the Employee Relations Committee, a group formed to build camaraderie among the employees in both districts and to conduct positive outreach on behalf of the Lt. Governor’s Office. This is the second year that the Lt. Governor’s Office has donated gifts to the young patients at the Schneider Hospital.
Lt. Governor Francis hopes the gifts help to bring the spirit of Christmas to the pediatric ward. “Despite their present circumstances, we want these children to have a special Christmas,” he said.
