Thank School Administrators for their Service

Lieutenant Governor Gregory R. Francis joined Governor John P. deJongh, Jr. in thanking St. Croix school administrators for their service and commitment to educating the territory’s youth.  The School Administrators Appreciation Reception was held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Government House on St. Croix.

Principals and assistant principals from St. Croix’s public, private and parochial schools were the guests of honor at the reception, which recognized their collective efforts to support learning and student achievement.  Lt. Governor Francis praised the honorees for their competent management of their school environments and team building efforts.  “I commend your ongoing initiatives to meaningfully engage your faculty, staff and students.  This shared vision and purpose has helped our schools to meet AYP standards, achieve accreditation and produce students who are prepared to pursue higher education, participate in the workplace and be citizens of our community.”

The ceremony honoring school administrators in the St. Thomas/St. John district will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Government House on St. Thomas.
