Lieutenant Governor Gregory R. Francis today extended season’s greetings to all residents and visitors of the Virgin Islands as the territory celebrates the holidays and prepares for the New Year.
“This is the time of year to appreciate our many blessings - to reconnect with family, old friends and neighbors and share in the traditions and events that celebrate our rich culture,” said Lt. Governor Francis. He encourages all Virgin Islanders to share in the generosity of the holiday spirit by extending a helping hand to the less fortunate throughout our community.
Francis is joined by his wife, Cheryl, and the employees of the Office of the Lieutenant Governor in wishing Virgin Islanders all the best in 2012. “Let us continue to work together to surpass our challenges with the grace and spirit that defines us as Virgin Islanders. May the spirit of the season bring good tidings and a safe and happy holiday to one and all,” Lt. Governor Francis said.
