Lt. Governor Gregory R. Francis was pleased to welcome the Lions Club District Governor, June L. McCatty to the United States Virgin Islands.  McCatty and a delegation of Lions Club members visited Government House on St. Croix on August 2, 2010.

District Governor McCatty presides over the 60B region, which includes the U.S. Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Barbados,  St. Lucia and other Caribbean nations.  Sixty-two clubs report to the District Governor. 

McCatty is a native Jamaican and the first female District Governor from the island of Jamaica.
