Lieutenant Governor Gregory R. Francis is pleased to announce that the Christiansted, St. Croix Passport Office and the St. Thomas Passport Office will open on Saturday, March 27th in recognition of Passport Day 2010.  Both offices will join passport agencies and acceptance facilities across the United States in hosting passport events.  The offices, which are passport acceptance facilities operated by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, will be open from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 27, 2010.

Residents planning to apply for or renew their passports on Passport Day are reminded that in addition to the completed passport application, they will also be required to provide proof of citizenship and identity, two 2x2 photos and associated fees.  Additional requirements apply for minor children.  Copies of the passport application are available at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor or online at www.ltg.gov.vi.
