VI SHIP/Medicare Symposium
The Virgin Islands State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) will be holding a VI Medicare Symposium in conjunction with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in the New York Regional Office.
VI SHIP Director/Medicare Coordinator Rena Sarauw said the 2008 Medicare Symposium will offer providers, partners, stakeholders and advocates of Medicare pertinent information on the Medicare program and offer sessions on improving program outreach to Medicare recipients.
The Medicare Symposium will be held from September 18 -19, 2008 at the Divi Carina Bay Beach Resort and Casino on St. Croix. Persons or organizations interested in registering for the symposium should contact the VI SHIP Office at 772-7368 for a registration form and more information.
V.I. SHIP is a program federally funded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and locally administered by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.
