Lieutenant Governor Osbert E. Potter reminds the public that the 2018 Property Tax bills issued to all property owners on record as of January 1, 2018 will become delinquent if not paid by September 28, 2018.
Property Tax bills may be paid online at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor’s website at www.propertytax.vi.gov. However, payment plans must still be made through the Virgin Islands Tax Collector.
Consistent with past billings, the 2018 bill also includes information on unpaid tax years. Property owners who have not paid their prior tax year bills are encouraged to contact the Virgin Islands Tax Collector to make arrangements for payment.
Lieutenant Governor Potter also reminds the public that pursuant to Act No. 8017, property taxpayers may pay their delinquent taxes with 100% waiver of all interest and penalties for tax years 2015 and prior up to October 16, 2018. Amnesty payments will only be accepted in person or via postal mail through the Office of the Tax Collector.
