Lieutenant Governor Tregenza A. Roach, Esq. advises the public that all divisions located on the lower level of Nisky Center, St. Thomas, will remain closed until further notice. The closures are due to a health and safety issue which is currently being addressed and affect the following divisions of the Office of the Lieutenant Governor at lower Nisky Center:
–Division of Real Property Tax
Office of the Tax Assessor, including the Cadastral Unit
Office of the Tax Collector
–Recorder of Deeds
–Geospatial Information System (GIS)
–V.I. Medicare/Virgin Islands State Health Insurance Assistance Program (VISHIP)
–Cashiers
Customers in need of service may bring documents to the Office of the Lieutenant Governor’s Administrative Office at Government Hill, 5049 Kongens Gade, Charlotte Amalie. The Recorder of Deeds will also be temporarily located there to facilitate pending real estate transactions.
