Acting Governor Tregenza A. Roach, Esq. announces abbreviated customer service hours for the Tax Assessor offices in the St. Thomas/St. John District and St. Croix District. Beginning on Monday, May 17, 2021, Tax Assessor offices will operate and permit in-person access Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. COVID-19 protocols will remain in effect.

“The temporary change in operations will allow for staff training and the timely preparation and issuance of the 2021 tax bills. Recently, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor implemented the Entellitrack (ETK) System. This web-based system serves as a data platform for Property Tax Billing services. The implementation of system upgrades and staff training will help to improve workflow and provide better data management,” said Acting Governor Roach.

In person customer access at the Offices of the Tax Assessor will be restricted from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. when staff will be present but involved in the training and processing tasks. For additional information or assistance, the Offices of the Tax Assessor can be reached at 340-774-2991 for the St. Thomas/St. John District and at 340-773-6449 for the St. Croix District.
