Lieutenant Governor Tregenza A. Roach, Esq. reminds the public that pursuant to Act No. 8271, the amnesty period during which interests and penalties assessed against all outstanding real property taxes in the Territory are waived, expires on July 17, 2020.

All amnesty payments will be accepted in person, via postal mail, or via credit card payment using the single-use credit card authorization form that can be accessed from the Office of the Lieutenant Governor’s website at https://ltg.gov.vi .

Payments for the current 2020 tax year or non-amnesty payments for delinquent properties inclusive of interest and penalties, may be paid online at https://propertytax.vi.gov/.

Taxpayers who wish to make payments in person are encouraged to visit the Office of the Tax Collector located at Nisky Center Suite 2 on St. Thomas or at the Leroy Quinn Finance Building, in Sunny Isles on St. Croix.

The St. Thomas-St. John District office may be reached by calling 340-774-2991, select Option 5, then Option 8. For the St. Croix District please call 340-773-6449, select Option 5, then Option 8.

Installment payment agreements are available for delinquent taxpayers unable to take advantage of the amnesty program. Please contact the Office of the Tax Collector to arrange an appointment to meet with a representative.
